Wanda is a dedicated community leader committed to ensuring everyone in Bowie is able to thrive.
Wanda has been a resident of the Woodmore Highlands community of Bowie for over 23 years.
With over 36 years of experience in the federal Bureau of Fiscal Service, the last 13 years being a member of the elite Senior Executive Service, Wanda has achieved many firsts during her career and has a proven track record of success.
Wanda and her husband Terry own an independent real estate brokerage in the Pointer Ridge Section of Bowie. She is a long-time advocate for small, minority, and women-owned businesses.
Winning Campaign Manager for Kym Taylor, MD District 23 State Delegate, Wanda is currently the President of the Greater Bowie Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Community Association of South Bowie, and is on the Board of Directors for the Bowie Community Media Corporation.
Wanda is an active Member of the First Baptist Church of Highland Park and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and enjoys golfing with Queens on the Greens.
Wanda holds a BS Degree from Rider University (NJ) and a MGA Degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
Wanda and her husband are the proud parents of three adult daughters, three grandchildren and a grand dog.

Established in April 2017 to provide executive consulting services to government contractors and small businesses.
The family-owned business, Realty Transactions Services, Inc., is an independent real estate brokerage located in the Pointer Ridge Section of Bowie, MD. For 23 years, the focus of the business is residential sales and leases, land sales, and commercial real state sales and leases in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
From June 2021 to November 2022 Wanda managed a paid campaign staff and volunteers Maryland District 23 Delegate, Kym Taylor. Wanda developed an outreach strategy and a communications plan. Working with the candidate, Wanda canvassed District 23 communities, participated in corner waves, attended community events and organized fundraisers. Along with the Treasurer, she developed budgets and approved expenditures and state financing reports.
After 36 + years of dedicated service, Wanda retired in March 2017. During her tenure she provided executive leadership to an organization of over 3,500 employees in 7 locations across the country.
Wanda was responsible for a federal appropriation budget of over $300 million and a permanent and indefinite appropriation budget of over $1 billion.
